A slow archive for fast-moving work. Arche Directory started as a private bookmarks folder — years of sites saved because they did something well. This is that folder, cleaned up and made public.
What gets in
- Typography with a system. A clear scale, considered pairings, and type that carries the page.
- Layout and pacing. Sections that breathe, rhythm that guides the eye, grids that hold.
- Motion with intent. Animation that explains or delights — never decoration for its own sake.
- Respect for the reader. Honest copy, fast loads, no dark patterns.

Questions
What is Arche Directory?
Arche Directory (arche.directory) is a hand-curated directory of 451 exceptional websites, grouped into landing pages, personal portfolios and design studio sites.
How are sites selected?
Every site is reviewed by hand. We look for a clear typographic system, deliberate layout and pacing, purposeful motion, and copy that respects the reader. Popularity alone is not a criterion.
How often is the directory updated?
New sites are added weekly. Each entry is screenshotted at full length when it is added and re-captured periodically.
Can I submit my website?
Yes — use the form at arche.directory/submit with the URL and one sentence about what makes it special. Submissions are reviewed by hand; there is no paid placement.
Who owns the sites in the directory?
Their makers. Every listed website, with its design, content, names and trademarks, belongs to its owner; Arche Directory only links to it and shows a screenshot for reference. Owners can have an entry removed or corrected at arche.directory/removal or by writing to hello@arche.directory.

Use the submission form — the URL and one sentence on what makes it worth studying is enough. No paid placement, ever.
